How to make a eucalyptus oil cleaning spray
We love this DIY Eucalyptus Oil spray… it’s simple to make with a few ingredients, and it works! Great for surfaces all over the home.
We’ve used this all-purpose cleaner on everything from kitchen and bathroom surfaces, to toilets, outdoor furniture, and even dirty sports shoes*.
This recipe has become internet legend, so popular it was even featured on A Current Affair. If you’re looking to minimise the use of chemicals around your home, give it a go!
You’ll need:
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1-2 teaspoons dishwashing liquid
- 3 capfuls of Bosisto's Eucalyptus Oil
- 2 heaped teaspoons Lectric Soda (washing soda)
- Clean, empty 500mL plastic spray bottle
- Funnel
Instructions:
Put Lectric soda in the spray bottle and add hot water to dissolve. Add Eucalyptus Oil and other remaining ingredients (a funnel is helpful). Shake to mix thoroughly.
